What we do in the shop

From one set of wheels to a pallet of brackets, every part is prepped, coated and cured in house.

Why powder, not paint

A finish built for New England roads.

Powder is sprayed dry, then baked in an oven until it flows into one hard shell. It handles road salt, brake dust and pothole season far better than spray paint, which is why it is the go-to finish for wheels and metal parts that live outside.

How it works

How a set of wheels moves through the shop

01

Send a photo

Text or upload photos of your wheels or parts. We reply with a ballpark price. The final price is set when we see the part.

02

Strip and repair

Tires come off, old finish is stripped, curb rash is fixed and cracks are checked before anything gets coated.

03

Coat and cure

Powder in the color you picked is applied, then cured in the oven into one hard, even finish.

04

Mount and pick up

Tires go back on and get balanced, and your wheels are ready to bolt on.

Questions we get every week

Short answers. For your exact wheels or parts, send a photo and ask.

Most shops price wheel powder coating per wheel, and the number moves with wheel size, condition, curb rash or cracks, and the finish you pick. Text or send us a photo of your wheels and we will give you a ballpark price for your set. The final price is set when we see the wheels at the shop.
Yes. Wheels have to be bare to be stripped, coated and cured in the oven. We can dismount the tires for you and mount and balance them again when the wheels are done, so you can bring the wheels in with tires on.
Yes. Curb rash and scrapes are repaired before coating so they do not show through the finish. Cracked aluminum wheels are inspected first and welded only when the crack is in a spot that is safe to repair.
We work with the Prismatic Powders color library, which covers a huge range of glosses, satins, mattes, metallics and candies. Tell us the look you want and we will help you pick or match it.
Yes. Brake calipers, motorcycle and boat parts, iron railings, patio tables and chairs, home radiators, brackets and batches of industrial metal parts. Sandblasting is available to strip rust and old coatings first.
Yes. If the finish is not right, we redo it at no cost.
We accept credit card, cash, check and Zelle or bank transfer.
