Serving Boston, MA
We will be upfront: our shop is in Warwick, Rhode Island, not in Boston. All coating, repair and balancing happens there, roughly an hour south of the city depending on traffic.
The short answer
Boston drivers make the trip for a few reasons: a shop focused on wheels, calipers and powder coating, thousands of Prismatic Powders colors to choose from, and a quote by text before you commit to the drive.
Text us a photo of your wheels, tell us the color you are after, and we will tell you what the job looks like before you leave the city.
Massachusetts winters mean salt and brine on every major road, from the Mass Pike and Storrow Drive to the Southeast Expressway. That salt works into chips and curb rash and starts corrosion under factory finishes.
Add frost heaves, potholes and the tight curbside parking of the South End, Back Bay and Jamaica Plain, and Boston wheels collect curb rash and cracked barrels quickly.
Because the drive is roughly an hour each way, we recommend texting a photo first so we can quote the job and confirm what your wheels need. That way you know the scope before you drive down.
Bring wheels with tires mounted. We dismount, repair, coat, cure, remount and balance in the same shop, so there is no second stop at a tire shop.
Many Boston-area customers come for a specific look: candy, matte, gunmetal, bronze, or calipers to match the paint. The Prismatic Powders library has thousands of colors and finishes to choose from.
Send us the car and a reference photo of the look you want, and we will help you narrow it down before the trip.
