Serving Connecticut, CT
We do not have a shop in Connecticut. All of our work is done in Warwick, Rhode Island, and for a lot of eastern Connecticut that is closer than people expect.
The short answer
From the shoreline (Mystic, Groton, New London) it is a straight run up I-95, and from the Quiet Corner and Norwich area I-395 connects to Route 6 or I-95 heading into Rhode Island. The Hartford area is a longer trip, so a photo by text first matters more the farther west you are.
Text us a photo of your wheels or parts and we will give you a ballpark price before you plan the drive.
Along the shoreline, salt air from Long Island Sound adds to winter road salt. Cars, trucks and boat trailers around Mystic, Groton, Stonington and New London see corrosion start early, especially on wheels with chips or curb rash.
From most shoreline towns our Warwick shop is typically about 45 minutes to an hour up I-95. We also coat boat and marine parts, so trailer and boat hardware can come along with a set of wheels in the same trip.
Customers from Norwich, Willimantic, Putnam and the towns along I-395 deal with long winters, back roads treated with salt and sand, and plenty of frost heaves come spring. Trucks and work vehicles are common here, and their wheels take the most abuse.
From Putnam or Norwich the drive is typically under an hour; Willimantic is typically about an hour. Bring wheels with tires mounted and we handle the dismount, repair, coating, remount and balancing in one shop.
From Hartford and the surrounding towns the trip is longer, typically about an hour and a quarter to an hour and a half via I-84 and I-384 to Route 6, or I-91 to I-95. Hartford-area drivers deal with heavy commuter traffic, potholes on I-84 and constant road construction.
For a trip that long, text clear photos of every wheel or part first. You will get a ballpark price, and we will flag anything (cracks, bends, old repairs) that needs an in-person look. The final price is set once the part is at the shop.

“I recently had my CRV wheels powder coated black and couldn’t be happier. Ocean State did a terrific job in less than two days.”

“I was immediately impressed with the communication and turnaround time. I was quoted a figure, and they held to it. That almost never happens with any work I have done on this custom truck.”
